Valentine’s Day has set engagement season in motion. Everyone is getting engaged – celebrities, royals, socialites, friends, and family.  We at @divaneewedding want to bring you the ring trends for this year.

Vintage rings continue to be popular. We love Natalie Portman’s engagement ring. It’s a round, brilliant, cut diamond center stone with micropave.  It’s elegant and by far my favorite ring style.

Gems and other non-diamond stones are making a big come back this year.  After all, Kate Middleton inherited Princess Diana’s sapphire ring. The setting is perfect in platinum.  Big center stones in right now.

A lot of celebrities are also choosing to go with a ruby as their center stone — red is the color of love.

Personally, I love the emerald and diamond combo. The green with white is simply divine.

For next year we predict that pink and yellow diamonds will make a comeback.  Antique settings will continue to be the settings of choice.
